Who maintains the road is not who runs the camera.
FDOT has not published the list of local agencies whose General Use Permits were revoked. This page therefore keeps the layers separate: official maintaining agencies of the State Highway System (FDOT Districts and Turnpike Enterprise), and unofficial OSM operator tags on crowd-mapped cameras.
FDOT has published a spatial roster of the specific LPR devices whose permits were revoked.
No public GIS or permit table of revoked LPR sites was retrieved from FDOT on 31 August 2026. Map points in this briefing are not that roster.
OSM operator tags identify which agency or company runs a given camera.
Only 857 of 9,573 Florida ALPR nodes carried an operator tag in this pull. Tags are volunteer-applied and may be wrong, stale, or missing.
Road maintaining agencies (primary)
Every On-System segment in the FDOT shapefile carries a DISTRICT (geographic) and a MNG_DIST (managing district). Districts 1–7 are the seven FDOT districts. Code 8 is Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.

Camera operators (unofficial OSM tags)
857 of 9,573 Florida ALPR nodes carried an operator=* tag. The rest are untagged. Private retail (Lowe’s, Home Depot, and similar) is listed because it is in the OSM extract — it is not a local-LEA permitholder under the memo.
